This Canon AV-1 35mm SLR Film Camera with Canon FD 35-70mm F3.5-4.5 Lens is in fantastic overall condition and comes in full working order. This camera comes with its original box and lens box, meaning you have a full original kit which is very rare for a camera produced in the 1980s.
This camera has been cleaned, tested and disinfected. This camera has a few age-related cosmetic marks but these do not affect the usability or image quality of the camera in any way. Plenty of lenses are available for this camera online, so there is a plentiful supply.
This camera is fun to use and produces great images. It fits the full range of Canon FD lenses and some modern lenses.
The AV-1 is very similar to the 1976 Canon AE-1 but provides aperture-priority autoexposure rather than the AE-1's shutter speed priority AE. The camera is not capable of full manual exposure. Featuring a sharp 50mm lens and needle-based light meter, this camera is perfect for students, amateurs, or professionals.
Requires 1x 6 volt A544 battery to operate. Not included.
